Comment Spammers Flood Symantec Site
Security Site Lacks CAPTCHA, Flooded with Comment Spam

Oops! Security vendor Symantec’s website offering security news and advice related to the 2010 World Cup has been flooded with comment spam. Under almost every security tip published, there are comments from spammers with links to questionable online shops. While the sites appear to be more or less harmless, it would be easy for spammers to put links leading to sites that serve malware.
The comment spam is possible because Symantec did not implement the necessary security mechanisms for comment functionality on a site, including CAPTCHA.
